Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is actively seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for a 3-4 month full-time temporary position (covering a leave of absence) in North Phoenix, Arizona. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is adept at managing a variety of tasks related to accounts payable functions.

Responsibilities

  • Process invoices with precision and ensure accurate GL coding.
  • Perform 2 and 3-way matching for invoices to maintain consistency and accuracy.
  • Set up and maintain vendor accounts efficiently and accurately.
  • Reconcile credit card statements and ensure all transactions are accounted for.
  • Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Utilize Excel pivot tables and VLOOKUP for data analysis and reporting.
  • Support other financial tasks as needed to maintain smooth operations within the department.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in accounts payable roles with a strong emphasis on accuracy and detail.
  • Experience with ERP systems like Deltek is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Excel, specifically with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes and systems.

Required Work Hours

The position requires full-time hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. 100% in-office.

Benefits

The position offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $26.00 to $28.00 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications.
